Job summary

Willis Re in New York is seeking an FP&A Manager to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting across global operations. You will partner with broking and support teams to translate performance into actionable financial insights and drive strategic planning, with Workday Adaptive integrated for a single source of truth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification, MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced certification preferred.
• Strong FP&A experience in a complex commercial environment (insurance/reinsurance or financial services).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking with ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, forecasts, strategic planning and scenario analysis for global operations.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and actionable recommendations to drive revenue growth, margin optimisation, and cost discipline.
• Develop and maintain KPI reporting, dashboards, and management information that track performance and trends.
• Prepare financial analysis and commentary for senior leadership, Board, and Steer Co reporting.
• Partner with business units to build driver-based forecasts and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Support investment appraisals, new market initiatives, and strategic projects through financial modelling.
• Coach FP&A analysts to foster analytical excellence and data-driven decision-making.
• Contribute to financial governance and the planning system (Adaptive/Workday) to create a single source of truth.
