Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Financial Planning and Accounting Manager to oversee general and subsidiary accounting, financial statement prep, and reporting for U.S. and European entities.

The role supports budgeting, forecasting, modeling, variance analysis, and special projects for the CFO, collaborating across departments and levels. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of accounting/financial analysis experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Experience in higher education, nonprofit, and/or public accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive financial models for revenue and expense forecasting to support strategic initiatives and long‑term planning.
• Lead the annual budget development process with department heads to ensure alignment with goals.
• Monitor actuals vs. budget and perform variance analysis with departments.
• Prepare monthly actual vs. budget reports for executive leadership and board reporting.
• Coordinate subsidiary accounting for NY, Berlin, London, and the Netherlands, including monthly reporting and cash flow analysis.
• Ensure GAAP‑compliant reporting and integrate forecast assumptions into accounting systems.
• Participate in annual audits and drive process improvements in financial operations.
