Job summary

Coda Search is partnering with a rapidly growing financial technology company seeking a Head of Corporate Accounting to build out fixed assets and manage related costs. You will drive implementation and design of internal reporting, collaborating with Operations, Technology, and consultants.

Responsibilities include asset ownership, compliance, close cycles, data analysis, and interaction with auditors for infrastructure costs. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience with a strong foundation in technical accounting.
• Prior public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred).
• CPA required.
• Strong Fixed Asset and Leases financial reporting experience.
• Proven ability to improve processes and implement core accounting procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Global Asset Ownership: Build out fixed asset accounting framework and lifecycle tracking worldwide.
• Technical Compliance: Evaluate ASC 842 and ASC 360 treatment for expenditures.
• Financial Close: Direct timely month-end and quarter-end close for infrastructure assets.
• Data & Allocations: Analyze large datasets to improve cost allocations and data integrity.
• Strategic Modeling: Partner with Procurement and Financial Reporting to optimize spend.
• Process Automation: Design scalable workflows and robust internal controls for high-volume transactions.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Translate infrastructure needs into financial implications.
• Audit & Reporting: Lead external audits and prepare investment schedules for leadership.
