Job summary
Lakeland Fire + Safety is seeking a Product Development Specialist – FIRE Division to lead development, documentation, and regulatory compliance for the global FIRE product portfolio. You will coordinate with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing and Sales to launch and sustain products.
The role requires 3–5 years in product development or technical product support in manufacturing, with strong project management, BOM/SKU experience, and familiarity with NFPA, ISO, CE,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Product Development, Business, Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in product development, engineering, technical product support, manufacturing, or product management.
- Experience supporting products through the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Regulatory compliance: review certifications and labeling for standards compliance.
- Product development & project coordination: manage lifecycle, milestones, cross-functional launches.
- Technical product ownership: maintain BOMs, SKUs, and manufacturing specs.
- Marketing & technical support: develop literature, training materials, and product trainings.
- Inventory & lifecycle management: analyze inventory and plan transitions.
