MUFG Bank, Ltd. in Irving, TX, is seeking an AVP in Global Financial Crimes Compliance Systems Testing. You will execute testing of anti-financial crime systems, contribute to the global testing plan, and work four days on-site with one remote day, collaborating with global teams to ensure controls and effective monitoring.

We value 3+ years in AML or sanctions, strong SQL/Python/SAS, and experience with Actimize or HotScan. A BA/BS is required and ACAMS is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Financial Services, preferably AML, sanctions, or related areas.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, SAS, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of financial crime systems such as Actimize and/or HotScan.
  • Ability to document data flows and test cases for controls and compliance.
  • BA/BS degree required; ACAMS or similar qualification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and execution of the Global Financial Crime Systems annual testing plan.
  • Perform systems testing to ensure completeness and accuracy of transaction data for AML/KYC and sanctions screening.
  • Document process flows and analyze data input/output for quality, accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare written reports summarizing objectives, scope, findings and conclusions.
  • Identify controls and compliance issues, assess risk, and monitor regulatory changes.

A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.**Overview**This Financial Crimes Compliance Systems Testing, AVP role is in the Global Financial Crimes Division of MUFG Bank, Ltd. This role will be required to execute testing of Financial Crimes Compliance systems and tools in accordance with the global testing plan, for MUFG locations globally.**Major Responsibilities:*** Assist in development and execution of the Global Financial Crime Systems annual testing plan* Perform systems testing to ensure the completeness and accuracy of transaction data from primary source systems to AML/KYC and sanctions screening systems such as HotScan, Fircosoft, Actimize, or other systems* Assist in documenting process flow(s), fully understand the IT compliance component of the systems, and analyze data input(s) and output(s) for quality, accuracy and completeness* Perform data analysis of financial payment messages* Prepare written reports which summarize the Objectives, Scope, Findings and Conclusions for each assigned review* Assist in the identification of controls and compliance issues, assess and document the related risk* Monitor developments, such as regulatory changes, payment infrastructure environment upgrades, which may necessitate ad hoc testing.* Assist in other projects or related duties as required**Qualifications:*** 3+ years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in AML, Sanctions, Wire Payments, or Correspondent Banking* 3+ years of experience working with SQL, Python, SAS, and related tools* Understanding of system architecture and functionalities of Financial Crime systems (such as Actimize and/or HotScan and/or any other similar systems)* Ability to perform data analysis and develop detailed documentation around payment data flows involving settlement systems, screening and monitoring systems.* Experience in coordinating systems testing and/or auditing environment, including test case development and review* Knowledge of various financial payments systems such as SWIFT, FEDWIRE and CHIPS* Strong written communication skills* Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision**Education:*** BA/BS Degree Required, Masters preferred* ACAMS or relevant professional qualification is a plusThe typical base pay range for this role is between $90,000 - $118,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
