Job summary

VB Spine, LLC is seeking a Sr. Global Strategy & Financial Risk Analyst to join our Global Finance team in Leesburg, VA.

The role focuses on analyzing financial transactions, cash flow, and cross-border activities to identify risks and ensure strong internal controls across international operations. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 2+ years of financial analysis or risk experience, and proficiency with ERP systems (JDE preferred) and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in financial operations, financial analysis, or risk-related functions.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial platforms (JDE preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with vendors, banking partners, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial transactions, cash disbursements, vendor payments, and cross-border activity to identify risk.
• Monitor and manage company cash flow activity and account balances.
• Support banking relationships, documentation, and financial controls.
• Conduct risk assessments of operations, payments, and international transactions.
• Review high-value payments for approvals and compliance.
• Support rollout of financial systems and global initiatives.
• Assist with international financial infrastructure projects and banking setup.
• Perform KYC reviews and vendor due diligence.
• Monitor for unusual payment patterns and potential fraud.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Operations and external partners to strengthen controls.
• Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and improvements.
• Support corporate card program management and international rollout.
• Prepare reports and analyses for management decision-making.
• Maintain documentation for audits and compliance.
