Job summary

Akola is seeking a Director of Finance and Operations in Dallas to lead budgeting, financial reporting, and global operations aligned with the mission to empower women and communities.

You will oversee international banking, revenue analysis, inventory control, and a controller role for US and Uganda offices, while guiding production and material forecasting with cross-functional teams.

Experience in developing countries is a plus; MBA in finance or business is preferred.

Qualifications

• Budget preparation and financial analysis experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 3–5 years in financial analyst or cost accounting roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee international banking and resource strategy.
• Manage budgeting and analyze revenue reports with senior leaders.
• Supervise Bookkeeper and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee accounting systems and inventory management.
