Global Finance Director at ZeroNorth

As the Global Finance Director, you will be at the forefront of transforming ZeroNorth's global finance function. You'll not only oversee financial consolidation, reporting, tax, payroll, and audit, but you'll also be a key driver of strategic financial initiatives that fuel our ambitious growth trajectory.

This is a high-impact role where you'll champion innovation in financial processes, build a world-class finance team, and act as a strategic partner to the CFO, shaping the future of our financial operations.

Reporting directly to the CFO, Global Finance Director will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices, scalable processes, and robust internal controls while managing a team.

Key responsibilities:

• Spearhead the transformation of our global consolidation process, driving efficiency and accuracy through process optimization and technology implementation.

• Coordinate and prepare accurate and timely external financial reports.

• Manage the preparation of the Group's financial statements, incl. ZeroNorth A/S.

• Design and implement forward-thinking accounting policies that enhance transparency and support strategic decision-making.

• Oversee the global payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, labor regulations, and company policies related to payroll.

• Oversee the company's global tax strategy and compliance.

• Define transfer pricing policy and manual.

• Manage the relationship with external auditors and coordinate the audit process.

Your profile:

• Minimum 12-15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 8-10 years in a senior leadership role.

• Natural self-starter with a systematic and dynamic approach to work

• Extensive experience in financial consolidation, reporting, audit, tax, and payroll in a multinational, multi-site organization.

• Proven track record of leading and implementing significant financial transformation projects, including system implementations and process redesigns.

• Expected high-level of attention to detail with outstanding analytical and data management skills

• Proven experience of working with multi-site, multinational organisations across different time-zones

• Experience in tax planning and compliance.

• Experience in managing relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external auditors and tax advisors.
