Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the United States offers a Summer Analyst internship within Global Finance & Business Management (GFBM).

You’ll collaborate with top professionals to influence decisions, contribute to financial analysis, data interpretation, and strategic projects across Finance teams in a 9-week program. The internship provides training, mentorship, and exposure to senior leaders, with a pipeline to the two-year Full-Time Analyst Program, including rotations across functional groups

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.A., B.S., or 5th-year M.A. or M.S., with expected graduation December 2027 or June 2028
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environment
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• A well-rounded academic background with interest in financial management, analytics, and data
• Digital-first mindset; data-driven thinking; willingness to learn new tools/skills/technologies; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Relevant internship experience and demonstrated leadership in academic or community organizations

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to business and group heads by identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks
• Optimize business performance by driving key initiatives supported by financial and data-driven insights
• Leverage reporting, metrics, and analytics to support strategic planning and execution
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements and controls across the transaction lifecycle
• Perform critical reporting and controls functions, including legal entity, financial and regulatory reporting, and product valuation
• Partner with stakeholders to enhance controls, transparency, and data quality
• Create meaningful financial analysis, reporting, and insights to support business strategy
• Coordinate with partners across the firm on budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
• Use data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting the business
• Support initiatives that drive cross-line-of-business or firmwide priorities, including new regulations, standards, or policies and contribute to large-scale programs consisting of multiple projects and work streams
• Track progress, analyze outcomes, and support data-informed decision-making across project lifecycles
