Job summary

Amazon Worldwide Fulfillment (AWF) – Exports Finance is seeking an exceptionally talented Sr. Financial Analyst to strengthen partnerships with global operations and product teams.

You will design, develop, and maintain performance measurements to improve the economics of AWF products, while leading financial processes and automation efforts. The role collaborates with country leaders, product and technology teams, and FP&A, driving prioritization and execution of key programs to accelerate

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience.
• 4+ years applying KPIs to analyses.
• 4+ years creating process improvements with automation.
• 4+ years identifying and executing finance tooling improvements.
• 3+ years dissecting financial data to support business strategy.
• 3+ years contributing to cross-functional initiatives driving financial performance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or 5+ years in a quantitative role.
• Six Sigma Black Belt required.
• Experience with SQL for data mining and BI.
• Experience as a lean sensei or QA engineer.

Responsibilities

• Build financial models and interpret data to influence leaders across Amazon.
• Lead weekly/monthly financial close and produce budgets, plans, forecasts, and consolidations.
• Foster partnerships and guide decisions based on data amid competing priorities.
• Communicate complex finance issues clearly to varied audiences.
• Collect and analyze data to develop reports that drive cost reductions.
• Mentor peers and promote diverse perspectives in activities.
• Identify opportunities to resolve defects and improve finance tools across teams.
