Job summary

3M is seeking a Field Operations Analyst in Maplewood, MN to develop production plans and perform risk assessments across our supply chain. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university
• OR High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of supply chain experience
• 1 year experience with ocean or air freight AND/OR drayage, intermodal, or trucking operations
• 1 year of SAP or ERP experience
• Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma is a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills; cross-site collaboration
• Familiarity with data analytics tools (SQL/Power BI/Tableau) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop production plans and perform risk assessments
• Lead projects to ensure just-in-time material flow from purchase to finished products
• Provide transportation support to plants, divisions, branches and distribution centers
• Conduct cost analysis and surface savings opportunities across centers and drayage spend
• Maintain records across ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms
• Partner with plants, traffic management, freight forwarders, and consolidation center teams
• Produce regular reporting for leadership on cost performance and trends
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across first leg operations
