Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a visionary Vice President of Global Facilities to lead the company’s worldwide facilities and real estate portfolio. You will guide site selection, leases, buildouts, and long-range capacity planning to support growth across manufacturing, engineering, and operations.

You will partner with Finance, Legal, HR, and Operations to ensure safe, scalable, and compliant facilities. A strong background in international real estate and complex negotiations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 20+ years of progressively responsible experience in corporate real estate or facilities.
• Significant experience managing geographically dispersed facilities and real estate portfolios.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial leases and real estate agreements.
• Experience supporting manufacturing/engineering/technology environments preferred.
• International facilities experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global facilities and real estate strategy aligned with growth and capacity needs.
• Own strategic planning and optimization of global real estate portfolio, including leased and owned properties.
• Lead site selection, expansion, relocation, and disposition efforts.
• Negotiate leases, renewals, expansions, and related agreements.
• Partner with Finance to structure agreements and manage risk.
• Oversee facilities operations, safety, and reliability across sites.
• Develop global standards for maintenance and facility services.
• Manage budgets for operating and capital expenditures.
• Build and lead a scalable global facilities organization.
• Establish governance, policies, and performance metrics for facilities management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver facility projects on time and within scope.
• Monitor leases, expenditures, and utilization; evaluate strategic options.
