Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Digital Strategy & Innovation Director to oversee global digital and technology strategy. This onsite role supports a technology client in San Jose or San Francisco, CA, and requires CRE experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead a team, drive development and implementation of digital strategies, and manage budgets and external partnerships to deliver innovative solutions that align with CBRE's RISE values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 8–12 years of relevant experience; experience leading digital professionals recommended.
• Experience staffing, coaching, mentoring, measuring and rewarding performance.
• Ability to lead exchange of sensitive information and set targets with broad impact.

The ideal candidate will have commercial real estate experience working in a fast-paced environment.

As a CBRE Digital Strategy & Innovation Director, you will assist with the oversight, implementation and innovation of the digital and technology strategy at a global level. This position is onsite supporting a technology client in San Jose or San Francisco, CA. The IFM portfolio spans over 40 countries and 80 sites. The ideal candidate will have commercial real estate experience working in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and manage the team member’s daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
• Assist with the development and implementation of digital strategies through innovation and automation.
• Guide innovation within the organization while implementing new digital products, services, and solutions.
• Establish relationships with external partners and vendors to identify emerging technologies and trends.
• Partner with small business units on new digital products, services, and solutions that meet customer needs.
• Manage the department's budget and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within cost constraints.
• Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to act while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
• Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
• Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Experience managing a team of digital professionals.
• Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $170,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $200,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
