Job summary

BD is a leading medical technology company advancing healthcare worldwide. This role focuses on transportation planning and export operations across regions, interfacing with affiliates, freight forwarders, and distribution centers to ensure compliant, timely shipments.

You will monitor KPIs, identify process improvements, and support training for customer service teams, contributing to BD's global logistics excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 6+ years in export/logistics/transport; experience in medical device/pharma/fda-regulated preferred.
• Strong ERP exposure (SAP/ECC/GTS/JDE) and EDI transaction experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage export shipments from distribution centers for assigned regions.
• Coordinate with WW Business, Regions, and Carriers to improve transit durations.
• Communicate order status, product availability, and regulatory information to customers and planners.
• Coordinate with supply chain, warehouses, traffic, and BD locations to ensure timely shipments.
• Ensure export procedures are followed per BD processes.
• Plan, coordinate, and optimize deliveries in SAP/TMS.
• Troubleshoot EDI transactions.
• Monitor performance and report KPIs in SAP.
• Train new Customer Service Representatives and Specialists.
• Provide policy and regulatory guidance across departments.
