Job summary

Plexus seeks a Global Export Compliance Leader to oversee the company’s export control program across aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. You will partner with Legal, Operations, and executive leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and business enablement.

You will resolve complex, multi-jurisdictional issues, guide licensing strategies, and drive governance improvements while mentoring the team and supporting enterprise growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; legal research/regulatory interpretation helpful.
• 6–8+ years of global export compliance or regulatory affairs experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense.
• Collaborative leadership with ability to influence cross-functional teams across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as global escalation authority, translating complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance.
• Oversee multi-jurisdictional export licensing and regulatory strategies (EAR/ITAR, ECCN classifications).
• Provide strategic guidance on deemed export controls and technical data governance.
• Drive regional enablement and governance enhancements for local teams.
• Support global risk oversight, audits, and process improvements within the function.
• Mentor developing team members and contribute to succession planning.
