Job summary

Securitas Security in Austin, TX, seeks a Global Events Security Manager to oversee worldwide security operations for corporate events. You will plan, implement, and execute risk assessments, emergency plans, and security programs to protect attendees, executives, assets, and brand reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of security/operations experience; seven years if no degree.
• Experience developing staffing plans and managing security vendors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom).
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; passport/visa required.
• Portuguese language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-event planning meetings to understand objectives, venue layouts, and security needs.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop security and emergency plans.
• Collaborate with Marketing, venues, and law enforcement for security planning and response.
• Manage relationships with event security vendors, staffing, and scheduling.
• Coordinate security for executives and VIPs while complying with laws and standards.
• Lead cross-functional security policy development and event operations.
• Integrate proactive security measures and contingency planning into event planning.
• Coordinate incident response, documentation, and post-event reporting.
• Collaborate with Marketing to optimize security expenditures while mitigating risk.
• Perform additional security duties as needed.
