Sony Interactive Entertainment in San Mateo, CA is seeking an Events Specialist to support the Global Events & Activations team in coordinating high‑quality live experiences that bring PlayStation’s games, hardware and brand to life.

The role reports to the Senior Manager and partners with Marketing, Game Studios, PR, Social, Partnerships, Sponsorships, Influencer and Territory Marketing teams, as well as agencies and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in experiential marketing or events.
• Experience supporting live events from planning to delivery.
• Strong project-management and organizational skills.
• Clear communicator and collaborative teammate.
• Working knowledge of budgets, purchase orders, schedules, SOWs and risk assessments.
• Interest in live gaming and hardware demos.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate global and U.S. events from briefing through delivery and evaluation.
• Prepare timelines, trackers and actions; manage documentation and post-event reports.
• Support agencies, suppliers and internal teams to manage deliverables and timelines.
• Assist onsite delivery and operations, including hardware setup and demos; travel required.
