Global Event Marketing - Operations Support Lead Analyst (Hybrid)

The role is accountable for providing strategic and operational support to the Head of Global Event Marketing – Americas and the cluster senior leadership team to facilitate decision-making and help meet the group's business objectives. Responsibilities include delivering and coordinating key business office functions for Global Event Marketing, such as creating business proposals and presentations, coordinating cluster deliverables, packaging them into global reports and summaries, project management, tracking key initiatives, managing routines, and overseeing policies and procedures.

Global Event Marketing (GEM) provides innovative event strategies and management solutions across geographies and businesses at Citi. Our team of dedicated professionals and skilled event managers partner with Citi's businesses and functions to create, plan, and execute events and roadshows that drive business goals while optimizing expenses, based on the strategy and content determined by the business.

This position reports to the Head of Global Event Marketing – Americas and will be responsible for supporting GEM in the following areas:

  • Business office management, including strategic initiatives, learning and development programs, financial performance, communications, and project management.
  • Restricted commodity governance control.
  • Stakeholder engagement.
  • Risk and control reporting.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and create GEM Americas deliverables such as goals, accomplishments, and strategic objectives to align with Citi and ESPA/CCS goals.
  • Oversee and centrally track progress on key GEM initiatives like sustainability, intranet content, employee and non-employee trainings to ensure data consistency.
  • Develop and coordinate presentations for key initiatives and management communications, including materials for internal clients, C-suite executives, senior management, and Citi business partners.
  • Manage GEM cluster team routines, including preparing agendas and content for regular management meetings and deliverables to ensure structure and accountability.
  • Spearhead ad hoc projects supporting the GEM Americas head related to governance, budget/expenses, productivity, reporting, communications, HR, risk, and control.
  • Contribute to regular updates on execution status and deliverables for short, mid, and long-term goals.
  • Ensure effective communication of activities through weekly highlights and senior leadership team meetings to promote consistency and standardization across the team.
  • Oversee department communication templates and strategy to ensure standardization, consistency, and alignment with Citi’s Brand Central guidelines.
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of experience in Event Marketing or Hospitality Industry, ideally within the financial or corporate sector.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills for projects with varying lead times.
  • Strong relationship management skills with proven success in being people-focused.
  • Excellent communication skills and broad knowledge of financial services products and environment.
  • Collaborative work style with the ability to interact effectively across organizational boundaries, hierarchies, and geographies.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
