Job summary

Dream Opportunity, a global nonprofit, seeks a USA-based event speaker/host to represent our workshops and panels with major brands. You will rehearse with our team, host panels, and provide feedback to craft engaging experiences for students and corporate partners.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and presentation skills, reliable Zoom access, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while traveling for paid events as needed. Remote-friendly, part-time role.

Qualifications

• Must be located in the USA, UK, Brazil, India, Mexico, Singapore, Philippines.
• Strong verbal communication skills: you will communicate clearly to brands and students.
• Have a computer with Zoom and reliable wifi.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate and creative commitment to issues of race and identity.
• Open to different ideas and engaging with diverse guests and audiences.
• Positive attitude and authentic personality with a go-getter spirit.
• Ability to work part-time with varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Be the event speaker/host for events with big brands/companies.
• Be the event host for a panel where industry leaders will share insights about their brand.
• Attend rehearsals where you will be trained on how to host our workshops/panels.
• Bonus opportunities to collaborate with other team members to provide feedback on workshops/panels.
• Attend meetings to help our creative team develop new workshops/panels for students and brands.
• Take editing and feedback in a collaborative, team-based creative process.
• Bring energy, humor, excitement, and a collaborative spirit to a fast-paced, deadline-driven team.
