Job summary

Architect Motors is building an affordable electric motorcycle for emerging markets, seeking a Global Supply Manager to own supplier and manufacturing relationships in China. You will drive sourcing, OEM/ODM management, and future vehicle programs from development through production, ensuring alignment with target markets including Mexico.

Professional fluency in Mandarin and strong English are strongly desired.

Qualifications

• Mandarin Chinese is strongly desired for technical and commercial discussions with suppliers.
• Fluent in English for cross-language collaboration and documentation.
• 5–7+ years in supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, or supplier management in automotive/EV or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own key relationships with Chinese OEMs/contract manufacturers and suppliers, including cost, quality, schedule, and technical execution.
• Manage sourcing and production for internal hardware, including electronics, PCBAs, and controllers.
• Oversee OEM supplier development from design through production, including changes, tooling, validation, and delivery.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and cost-reduction initiatives across programs.
• Bridge Architect Motors engineering teams and Chinese suppliers to resolve technical and production issues.
• Coordinate with Mexico-based operations for localization, assembly, quality feedback, and production readiness.
