Monticello Associates, LLC in Denver seeks an Equity Research Associate focused on investment manager due diligence for domestic and international equity strategies. You will meet with managers, draft research notes, track performance and exposures, and contribute to client-ready reports under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include an undergraduate degree in economics, finance, or business and 1–3 years in financial services, preferably with foundations or family

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, or business preferred.
• 1–3 years in financial services; foundations/endowment/family office experience preferred.
• Strong written/verbal communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings with investment managers and prepare post-meeting reports.
• Create/update investment manager reports for client reviews.
• Assist underwriting new ideas by analyzing firm background, strategy, performance, and terms.
• Use Bloomberg, eVestment, MSCI ESG for manager analysis and comparisons.
• Create asset class reviews on macro trends and client considerations.
