Job summary

Bailard, a San Francisco Bay Area-based independent asset and wealth manager, seeks an investment analyst to join its International Equities team to support portfolio managers and analysts across non-U.S. equity strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, finance, or a related field.
• Ability to build strong cross-team relationships.
• Ability to translate quantitative data into written/verbal narratives.
• Experience navigating complex data systems and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail in time-sensitive situations.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare investment reports, portfolio analytics, and spreadsheet-based deliverables for internal use, client communications, and/or business development.
• Maintain and update financial models, investment databases, and reporting tools used by the International Equities team.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support investment decision-making.
• Perform quality control checks on investment data, models, performance attribution, and other reports; collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability of the investment platform.
