Job summary

GSK plc in the United States is recruiting an Associate Director of Global Epidemiology and Real-World Evidence to lead epidemiology programs across assets and disease areas. You will design studies using real-world data, collaborate with clinical, safety, regulatory, and outcomes teams, and manage external partners and budgets.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of applied epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, outcomes research, or related experience.
• Proven experience designing and delivering observational studies or healthcare database analyses.
• Experience in a matrix environment and collaborating with clinical, safety, regulatory, or outcomes teams.
• PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or related field (preferred).
• Familiarity with real-world data types and data linkage; strong scientific communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead epidemiology programs for one or more assets or disease areas with cross-functional partners.
• Design, oversee, and deliver observational and database studies using real-world data.
• Provide timely scientific advice on study design, data needs, and interpretation of results.
• Manage external partners, vendors, budgets, and timelines for study delivery.
• Prepare regulatory documents and publications to communicate findings clearly.
• Build capability by sharing methods and learnings across teams.
