Global Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist

Role Overview:

As the Global EHS Specialist, you will be central to embedding EHS excellence across our international manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with site leaders, regional teams, and group functions to support global EHS strategies, enhance data integrity, identify trends, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Supporting the Global Head of Health & Safety, you will help evolve our EHS culture and develop sustainable processes to build EHS capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy: Support the delivery of group and ETS EHS strategies through planning, communication, and engagement. Develop resources such as training materials and campaigns. Manage the Group H&S Excellence Framework and ensure its consistent application.
  2. Data, Reporting & Systems: Administer EHS platforms (e.g., EcoOnline, SharePoint). Lead KPI data collection, analysis, and reporting, providing insights to leadership and maintaining data integrity across regions.
  3. Compliance & Risk Management: Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance tracking. Lead assurance processes, monitor actions, and support incident investigations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements across multiple sites and regions.
  4. Best Practice & Capability Development: Promote knowledge sharing and innovation among sites. Analyze EHS data for improvements and collaborate with leadership to implement enhancements.
  5. Cultural Transformation: Foster a culture where health and safety are core values. Celebrate successes and support global EHS campaigns and leadership engagement.
  6. Qualifications & Experience: Demonstrable knowledge of sustainability and EHS practices, including NEBOSH or IEMA certifications, experience in a global or regional EHS role, and familiarity with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001. Strong data management skills and experience with EHS software platforms are essential.

  8. Location & Travel: Remote or hybrid work model. Based near Cheltenham, UK, with occasional international travel (up to 10%).
