Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Sr. Accounting Program Manager to drive global entity formation, restructure, and closure initiatives across Amazon’s vast corporate landscape.

You will coordinate with Business, Tax, Legal, FinOps, Treasury, HR and Accounting to ensure controllership and consistency of critical projects. You will oversee proposal, approval and financial system setup, manage risks, and communicate with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA (preferred).
• COSO knowledge for internal control framework (preferred).
• Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification (preferred).
• Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients (preferred).
• Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to support Amazon's corporate structure ensuring appropriate business support and controllership.
• Deliver complex cross-functional projects.
• Prioritize work for global project teams and monitor transactions to maintain standards.
• Identify and communicate project risks to senior leadership with clear mitigation recommendations.
• Manage risks across multiple business functions and drive resolution.
• Build relationships across teams within Amazon to foster collaboration.
