Qualifications

• Proven years of enterprise-scale networking and security architecture experience, incl. 10+ years in senior IC roles owning global environments.
• Distinguished Engineer or equivalent executive IC at top-tier technology company; external impact through patents, standards, or speaking.
• Deep hands-on expertise across data center and enterprise networking, including BGP/EVPN, VXLAN, leaf-spine, and 400G+ fabrics.
• Security architectures: zero trust, SASE/SSE, microsegmentation, next-gen firewalls.
• Experience with Mist AI, Meraki; out-of-band and resiliency engineering; carrier interconnects and multi-cloud integration.

Responsibilities

• Act as Final Technical Authority for enterprise networking architecture and interface with DIO leadership.
• Own the Global Networking Architecture across LAN/WAN, data centers, cloud, wireless, edge, and security domains.
• Define and govern reference architectures, design patterns, and best practices for consistency, resilience, and security.
• Lead cross-domain alignment with cloud, security, infrastructure, and edge teams; accelerate modernization initiatives.
• Author 5-year global networking roadmaps with risk assessments and executive-ready recommendations.
• Mentor senior engineers and lead architecture review boards and technical guilds.
