Job summary

NBC Universal in Orlando seeks a Senior Manager, Enterprise Data & BI to lead the design, engineering, operations, and maintenance of a comprehensive data strategy and roadmap for enterprise data supporting Universal Destination & Experiences (UDX) globally.

This role will head enterprise data projects, align with partner teams including Digital & Technology and NBCUniversal Operations & Technology, and work with stakeholders to ensure data requirements are understood and efficiently delivered,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, CS, math, engineering, or related field.
• 9+ years of leadership experience managing teams of 4+ resources.
• Experience with data structures, modeling, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with data profiling, mapping, cleansing, and quality assurance.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and data cataloging tools (Collibra).
• Experience with databases such as Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle.
• Experience with ETL/Data Quality tools such as DataStage, Informatica Power Center.
• Experience with reporting/ad-hoc analysis tools such as MicroStrategy, Cognos, Business Objects, Tableau.
• Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, Embarcadero.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a team of salaried technical ICs and contractors; plan, develop, implement, support and enhance data systems.
• Coordinate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Data Testers to align solutions with business objectives.
• Coordinate with business users during project implementations and serve as a point of contact for data questions.
• Lead meetings with VP/Director/Manager stakeholders; keep leadership informed of status and issues.
• Define and evolve best practices in data engineering, analytics and support.
• Follow UO Environmental, Health & Safety policies and participate in related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
