Job summary

Flowserve seeks a data governance and standards specialist to collaborate with global engineering teams on item/BOM and document standards. You will develop and maintain global standards, lead data cleansing, and drive part classification improvements to ensure trusted engineering records.

You will provide expert guidance on data structuring per international standards and work with cross-functional teams to enable standardized data across engineering systems and supply chains.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience.
• Experience with PLM or other data management systems.
• Strong knowledge of engineering processes, standards, and tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering SMEs and stakeholders to establish item/BOM and document standards.
• Develop, document, implement, and maintain global engineering standards and data governance practices.
• Lead data cleansing, enrichment, consolidation, and deduplication to improve data quality.
• Provide guidance on part classification and data structuring per international standards.
• Collaborate across functions to align on standards, workflows, and data requirements.
