Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience at an investment bank, institutional investor, or energy trading house.
• Postgraduate degree in economics, econometrics, statistics, or finance (MA/PhD).
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Knowledge of microeconomics, financial economics and derivatives, especially price theory.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to regular publications by researching key issues on energy/commodity markets.
• Econometric modelling to support price forecasting.
• Interact with internal desks and external clients.
• Monitor and analyze ongoing developments in commodity markets.
