Job summary

OXEA Corporation in Houston is seeking an Energy Category Manager to lead global sourcing and risk management for natural gas, electricity, industrial gases, catalysts, and metals across the US and Europe.

You will partner with Operations, Treasury, Finance, and Technical Services to optimize costs, supply security, and supplier performance, while developing hedging programs and strategic supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category leadership.
• Deep knowledge of energy markets, industrial gases, catalysts, and metals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for Natural Gas, Catalysts, and other inputs.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and performance management globally.
• Monitor energy market fundamentals, regulatory developments, and risk exposure.
• Establish and manage commodity hedging programs to mitigate price volatility.
• Collaborate with Operations, Treasury, Finance, and Technical Services to optimize cost and supply security.
• Drive strategic supplier relationships and innovation with critical suppliers.
