Job summary

Apollo.io is seeking an Employment Counsel to partner with our People team on employment matters across our global workforce. You will provide practical advice throughout the employee lifecycle and build processes that enable timely, consistent decisions.

This is a hands-on role with ownership. You will coordinate with local counsel, draft employment documents, support investigations, and guide separations while ensuring compliance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent legal qualification and active U.S. bar membership.
• Approximately 6+ years of employment-law experience.
• Experience counseling employers directly and handling sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment counseling on hiring, performance, and separations.
• Lead investigations and advise on employee relations matters.
• Draft and refine offer letters, separation agreements, and related documents.
• Coordinate with local counsel for jurisdiction-specific requirements and international matters.
• Develop repeatable processes with Legal Operations and People Operations.
