Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ to support electrical generation and distribution for temporary power and testing solutions. You will oversee quotes, contracts, and multi-site projects from initiation to completion, coordinating staff, vendors, and schedules with a PMO focus.

The role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to travel up to 50% while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in industrial electric equipment field operations.
• Three+ years in electrical systems design or engineering.
• Three+ years in project management; PMP certification is a plus.
• Able to read and comprehend technical documents such as manuals, prints, plans, and schematics.
• Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to travel on an average of 50%, and pass periodic drug, alcohol, and security screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to various stakeholders.
• Attend, plan, coordinate, and lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Gather, review, and document project requirements to determine the scope of work.
• Perform jobsite visits to provide successful project quoting and execution.
• Determine equipment and services needs to generate project quotes.
• Plan and coordinate project operations for successful execution.
• Determine and manage project quality and reporting measures.
• Generate project documentation such as plans, budgets, logs, and reports.
• Gather data for timely communications to stakeholders on progress and status.
• Follow and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Provide assistance to management staff as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
