Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Chicago seeks a Summer Intern to help design and develop training content for internal and external audiences. You’ll work with the Global Training Content Team on program implementation, content design, and reporting.

You will collaborate with content developers, integrate AI tools to speed content creation, and communicate progress to leadership. This internship requires current enrollment in a related degree with graduation after December 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Adult Education or Content Design, graduating after December 2027.
• Knowledge of content development tools (Articulate, Camtasia) preferred.
• Strong writing and presentation skills; excellent time management.
• Self-motivated with solid organizational and interpersonal skills.

Motorola Solutions Global Education is responsible for creating innovative training strategies, and the design, development, and delivery of training content across the MSI solutions/product portfolio. Our training services address the educational needs of our Motorola Solutions customers, partners and employees, enabling each group to be more efficient, effective, and ensure established business and operational outcomes are met.

Job Description

Under the direction of Global Education, the Summer Intern will work with the Global Training Content Team to assist in designing and development of content that could be internal or external facing. The intern will be an active participant in many activities including program implementation, content design and development, and reporting.

In this role you will:

• Work closely with content developers within the Global Education team to assist with the design, development, and maintenance of training assets.


• Integrate generative AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini, Google Notebook, Claude Code) into learning design processes to accelerate development timelines and scale content creation.


• Communicate with leadership and peers on project progress and business value.


• Organize and collect data for analysis and reporting.


• Additional support for the training team as needed.

Basic Requirements
