Job summary

Control Risks is hiring a Due Diligence Analyst to support a major global technology client. The analyst will conduct OSINT research on third parties and help assess financial, regulatory, and reputational risks.

You will prepare risk profiles and reports for internal and client stakeholders, escalate concerns to senior staff, and monitor developments across jurisdictions. You will work with cross-functional teams, managing multiple assignments while adhering to SLAs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in due diligence, investigative research, or third-party risk assessments.
  • Experience using OSINT techniques and publicly available information for investigations or risk assessments.
  • Familiarity with commercial research databases, sanctions screening platforms, corporate records, and media research tools.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify risk indicators.
  • Excellent written communication and experience preparing research reports or summaries.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct due diligence research on third parties, vendors, suppliers, executives, beneficial owners, and other subjects using OSINT, public records, media sources, and databases.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze information to identify financial crime, sanctions, regulatory and reputational risks.
  • Support enhanced due diligence investigations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Prepare clear due diligence reports, summaries, and risk profiles for stakeholders.
  • Escalate adverse information to senior team members for review.
  • Monitor information for updates on developments affecting third-party risk assessments.
  • Support vendor onboarding and third-party risk management by documenting findings.
  • Manage multiple research assignments and meet service-level agreements.
  • Utilize investigative tools and methodologies to identify relevant information.
  • Maintain accurate case records and research files per program requirements.
