Job summary

Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Cary, NC seeks a pharmacovigilance leader to oversee post‑marketing safety activities, ensure compliance, and liaise with cross‑functional teams and partner CROs.

The role focuses on safety data handling, audits, and regulatory submissions with a strong emphasis on process improvement. The base compensation range for this role is $120-130K, influenced by experience and business conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field; required.
• At least 5 years of pharmaceutical safety and pharmacovigilance experience.
• Experience managing PV vendors/CROs and setting KPIs.
• Strong knowledge of ICSR processing and safety lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Argus or similar PV databases; data migration a plus.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a matrixed team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource for pharmacovigilance operations across functions.
• Oversee vendor performance and service outputs on time and budget.
• Review safety reports, audits, and TMF documentation.
• Collaborate on Safety Management Plans and SOPs.
• Assist regulatory submissions and safety data exchanges with partners.
• Maintain knowledge of global PV regulations (US/EU/JP).
