Job summary

Archipelago Companies is seeking an International Distributor Account Manager to own day-to-day relationships with distributor partners for OluKai, Melin, and Roark. The role is based in Irvine, CA in an in-office hybrid setup, leading forecast, prebook, and order flow while ensuring brand standards across markets.

Responsibilities include managing the order book, coordinating with Planning and Operations, and delivering revenue targets with a focus on sell-in vs sell-thru.

Qualifications

• Four or more years in wholesale account management, international sales, or distributor management.
• Demonstrated ownership of a revenue book with forecast accuracy and delivery to plan.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables and lookups to defend a forecast line by line.
• Experience operating in an ERP and BI/reporting environment; translate data into recommendations.
• Clear written and verbal communication with partners across time zones, languages, and cultures.
• Willingness to travel internationally with a valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for an assigned portfolio of international distributors across all three brands.
• Lead the seasonal sell-in cycle end-to-end: line presentation, market-level assortment planning, prebook collection, order entry accuracy, and confirmation.
• Manage at-once demand and in-season replenishment; coordinate seasonal samples, price lists, and asset delivery to partners.
• Own the order book: monitor open orders, ship windows, cancellations, backorders, and drive on-time delivery with Planning and Operations.
• Build and maintain rolling seasonal forecasts by distributor, brand, and category; reconcile with the annual plan.
• Partner with Planning and Production on demand signals, buy quantities, and inventory positioning for the International channel.
• Track sell-in vs sell-thru by partner; flag risks early with recommended actions.
