Job summary
MKS Instruments in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Distribution Continuous Improvement to lead long-range improvements across all warehouses and 3PLs. You will partner with Global Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality and IT to design and implement Lean solutions, standard work, and performance dashboards.
The role requires 10+ years in distribution/logistics, 5+ years leading CI initiatives, and an engineering or business background.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in distribution, warehousing, or global logistics operations.
- 5+ years leading continuous improvement initiatives in a multi-site environment.
- Experience with distribution centers and 3PL providers across regions.
- Strong analytics with KPIs, dashboards and data visualization.
Responsibilities
- Develop a long-term strategy to optimize warehousing space and efficiency.
- Deploy Lean solutions to gain immediate improvements in space and travel.
- Lead high-impact initiatives focused on cost reduction, service, and productivity.
- Drive improvements in warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy and cycle time.
- Establish standard work, KPIs and dashboards for global distribution.
