Job summary

Novanta Corporation is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead sourcing strategy, commodity management, and supplier partnerships across our Precision Medicine business. This role drives supply chain performance, operational excellence, and the delivery of technologies that improve patient outcomes worldwide.

The position requires leading executive-level supplier negotiations, building resilient sourcing solutions, and partnering with cross-functional leadership to achieve long-term business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management.
• Demonstrated success leading executive-level supplier negotiations and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Strong business acumen with expertise in spend analytics and supplier performance management.
• Proficiency with ERP and procurement systems, MS Excel, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global commodity and supplier strategies.
• Lead negotiations and partnerships with major suppliers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Program Management.
• Lead supplier performance management and risk mitigation activities.
