Job summary

Visa is seeking a Director of Client Engineering – macOS to own the global macOS platform strategy, engineering, and operations. The role demands leadership across security, user experience, and reliability for a complex enterprise environment.

The candidate will drive modernization and governance, partner with Security and Enterprise Architecture, and lead a high-performing global team focused on frictionless productivity and scalable support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience without a degree.
• Preferred: 12+ years with a Bachelor's degree or 8–10 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., MBA, MS) or 6+ years with a PhD.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a multi-year macOS platform vision and roadmap with quarterly outcomes and KPIs.
• Lead, coach, and develop a global macOS engineering team; build talent pipelines and career paths.
• Establish engineering standards, baselines, and secure-by-default patterns for enterprise macOS.
• Own end-to-end platform strategy aligned to Digital Workplace and Security roadmaps.
• Drive modernization of device management, OS lifecycle, patching, software delivery, and automation.
• Ensure robust incident management, problem management, and continuous improvement.
