Job summary

The SYGMA Network seeks a Director of Facility and Fleet Maintenance to implement corporate maintenance programs across a broad market, including facilities, fleets, and automated handling systems. It requires leading Fleet and Facility Managers and partnering with senior operations to maintain assets at peak readiness.

Bachelor’s in a relevant field is required, with a graduate degree preferred; 7–10 years in maintenance leadership and CMMS expertise are highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction required.
• Graduate degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering Management, or Construction Management preferred.
• 10 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 7 years of experience in industrial facility and/or fleet maintenance required; experience with food distribution centers/manufacturing plants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of properties, systems, and site improvements across regions.
• Lead maintenance of automated handling systems including AS/RS and mobile robots.
• Manage fleets of forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Direct over-the-road vehicle maintenance across a multi-site network.
• Provide dotted-line leadership to Fleet and Facility Managers; align with senior leadership.
• Develop and manage budgets related to maintenance and capital expenditures.
