Job summary

UNIPEC America, Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Trader to manage Middle Distillates trades, coordinate with the Global team on arbitrage opportunities, and expand market share in the Americas.

The role involves analyzing markets, optimizing trading strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The candidate should have 5+ years in petroleum products trading, strong knowledge of US Gulf Coast markets, and the ability to travel internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of petroleum products trading experience.
• Proficiency in market risk instruments.
• Ability to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage Middle Distillates physical trades and ARB desks coordination.
• Report market intel and industry trends to add value to the company.
• Coordinate product trading with shipping, operations, and other middle back-office functions.
• Remain current on legal and economic issues affecting the hydrocarbon industry.
• Work with compliance to ensure trade restrictions and laws are followed.
