Cloudflare is seeking a Director of Global Design & Construction to lead the design and execution of our physical environments worldwide. You will shape spaces that reflect our culture while integrating AI-driven workflows to optimize budgets and project delivery.

The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on leadership of architects, GCs, and vendors across multiple time zones. You will own CapEx budgeting, forecasting, and governance, and drive data‑driven decisions through post‑occupancy

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years leading interior design and complex construction projects at tech companies or global enterprises.
• Proven ability to manage a global office portfolio over 250,000+ sq ft.
• Strong curiosity for using technology to optimize human interaction and tools.
• Excellent leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and influence across time zones.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture/Engineering/PM or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design and construction of Cloudflare workspaces globally.
• Direct architects, GCs, and vendors to reflect Cloudflare culture in every space.
• Architect AI/automation workflows to streamline design and budgeting.
• Develop data‑driven proposals from real‑time utilization and feedback.
• Own CapEx budgeting, forecasting, and financial governance.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and sustainable building standards.
• Collaborate with Real Estate and FP&A on site strategy and risk mitigation.
• Oversee a global pipeline across hubs and time zones with change management.
• Oversee commissioning, handover, and operational readiness with Workplace teams.
