Qualifications

• Mid-level New York qualified derivatives lawyer with experience in credit derivatives and structured credit transactions.
• Strong understanding of US regulatory regime and bankruptcy issues in derivatives and related activities.
• Excellent client relationship skills and ability to develop business.
• Experience with cross-border work and negotiation of complex agreements.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements.
• Leading negotiations with counterparties.
• Advising clients and preparing formal legal opinions.
• Contributing to department know-how and knowledge sharing.
• Managing matter completion and post-closing work.
