Job summary

STN Incorporated is seeking a Director of Data Center & Site Operations to lead global deployment and ongoing operations across multiple sites, including Day 1 build-out and Day 2 lifecycle governance. The role emphasizes program management, vendor coordination, and scalable deployment execution to ensure high availability and security of data center environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent).
• 7+ years of data center operations and infrastructure deployment experience.
• Experience managing large-scale global deployment programs.
• Hands-on Day 1 build-out and rack-and-stack turnover to live ops.
• Strong DC infrastructure knowledge across compute, network, cabling, and power/cooling.
• Experience with change management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead global deployment operations across multiple data center sites.
• Plan and execute Day 1 deployments with hardware delivery and cabling.
• Oversee Day 2 activities including expansions, migrations, and upgrades.
• Coordinate with architecture, capacity, and site teams to ensure standards.
• Manage schedules, budgets, vendor performance, and KPI tracking.
• Provide executive reporting on deployment progress and capacity readiness.
• Establish and improve SOPs for Day 1 and Day 2 operations.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and incident response for deployments.
