Job summary

Google LLC seeks a Data Center Services Metro Lead to manage data center design, development, construction, and commissioning projects across multiple scales. You will coordinate with partner teams, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate progress to cross-functional stakeholders across offices and time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program or project management.
• 8 years of experience managing multinational and technical programs/projects.
• 8 years of experience with technical teams responsible for project management, engineering, and construction of data center or mission critical facilities.
• 5 years of experience in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, coordinating stakeholders to plan requirements, manage schedules, and identify risks.
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company and keep progress and deadlines up to date.
• Oversee data center design, development, construction, and commissioning across multiple scales.
• Balance needs of multiple partner teams while maintaining schedule and budget commitments.
• Provide tactical leadership over data center construction projects and mentor high-performing teams.
