Job summary

Serverfarm is a leading developer and operator of data centers with 750+ locations across North America, Europe, and Israel. The role oversees global IT infrastructure, including server, storage, virtualization, and network, with a focus on availability, incident management, and standardization.

You will lead a distributed team, coordinate IT for new facilities, and work with partners to ensure timely delivery and documented standards across sites.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in systems administration, network administration, or infrastructure engineering, including at least two years leading or managing technical staff.
• Experience managing a distributed or remote team across multiple time zones.
• Working proficiency across Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, enterprise storage, and IP networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a growing distributed team of five to six systems and network professionals across multiple countries and time zones.
• Own the availability, performance, and lifecycle of data center IT infrastructure across the global portfolio.
• Lead IT scope for new facility deployments and expansions — planning, procurement, structured cabling, IDF/MMR standup.
• Coordinate IT delivery against construction and commissioning schedules, and elevate early and clearly when IT’s window is being compressed.
• Manage the technical standards library and ensure site documentation is up to date.
