Job summary

Teledyne is seeking a Data Architect to define the enterprise data model and standard data definitions used across a global analytics platform. You will work with stakeholders, Data Engineering, and Analytics to align ERP data with reporting, AI, and planning needs.

You will lead design work integrating SAP, Infor XA, Dynamics AX, IFS, OneStream, CRM and other systems while ensuring data governance and consistent definitions across units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information systems, Business, CS, Engineering, Finance or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Infor XA, Dynamics AX, IFS or Oracle.
• Experience in multinational manufacturing, aerospace, defense, electronics, or high-tech companies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise reporting, KPI development, and analytical data structures.
• Experience developing enterprise data models, business rules, and data standardization across systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills with stakeholders.
• Experience designing solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI or similar cloud analytics platforms.
• DAMA CDMP certification is a plus.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data models for reporting, analytics, AI, and planning.
• Define and maintain standard business data definitions, KPI calculations, business rules, and data standards across ERPs.
• Lead design work to consolidate data from SAP, Infor XA, IFS, Dynamics AX, OneStream, CRM, and other ERP systems.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable data structures.
• Develop source-to-target mapping specs and transformation requirements for Data Engineering teams.
• Define business rules to standardize data across enterprise systems.
• Review data structures and mappings prior to validation and release.
• Support data governance, data quality, master data management, and data stewardship initiatives.
• Collaborate with Analytics teams to align semantic models and reports with definitions.
