Job summary

Teledyne is seeking a Data Architect to define the enterprise data model, business data definitions, and reporting standards for Teledyne's global analytics platform. You will work with business stakeholders, Data Engineering, and Analytics to develop a standardized enterprise data model across multiple ERP systems and business units, so reporting, analytics, AI, and planning all use the same definitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information systems, Business, CS, Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise data modeling.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Infor XA, Dynamics AX, IFS or Oracle.
• Experience in multinational manufacturing or high-tech environments with ERP consolidation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise reporting, KPI development and data standards.
• Experience designing data models, business rules, and mappings across systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with stakeholders.
• Experience with Power BI or other cloud data analytics platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data models for reporting, analytics, AI, and planning.
• Define and maintain standard business data definitions, KPI calculations, and data standards.
• Lead design to combine data from SAP, Infor XA, IFS, Dynamics AX, OneStream, CRM and more.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable data structures.
• Develop source-to-target mappings and transformation needs for Data Engineering.
• Define and document business rules to standardize data across systems.
• Review data structures, mappings, and datasets before validation and release.
• Support data governance, quality, master data management, and data stewardship.
• Collaborate with Analytics to align semantic models with business definitions.
