Job summary

Deloitte Global is seeking a Data Policies & Enablement Senior Manager to drive the formation of the Data Strategy & Governance Office and develop enterprise data and AI policies.

You will monitor compliance, partner with data and AI control owners, risk, and technology teams, and ensure governance is embedded across lifecycle processes including privacy, retention, and model decisioning.

Qualifications

• Six to ten years of experience in data and AI governance, data policy development, and risk management and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of data and AI policies, risk frameworks and control design, and regulatory environment (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST Standards, EU AI Act).
• Experience implementing risk and compliance processes at scale in global or federated organizations.
• Familiarity with data and AI governance tools (catalog, quality, lineage, model decisioning, etc.), cloud data platforms, and governance considerations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to interpret complex policies and translate into execution.
• Stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
• Process design and operationalization expertise.
• Communication skills to simplify complex governance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Policy development and interpretation to align with standards (internal cyber security standards, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, EU AI Act).
• Develop and maintain global data and AI policies, standards, and policy frameworks across the enterprise.
• Bridge policy and execution to embed governance into day-to-day operations and risk management.
