Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Dangerous Goods Regulatory Engagement to lead global regulatory strategy and engagement. This role partners with DG, Storage, and Safety SMEs to advance regulations using data and technology, reducing risk across the network.

The role interacts with worldwide regulatory bodies (UNECE, US DOT/PHMSA, FAA, OSHA, EPA, ISO) and industry associations, driving risk-based approaches and policy advocacy in diverse geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products at an advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update an annual engagement strategy with global partners.
• Provide regulatory oversight of existing and new Amazon operations to improve safety and expansion.
• Engage with international DG regulatory bodies and NGOs to inform policy and standards.
• Collaborate with Amazon Public Policy to present safety priorities to government bodies.
• Strengthen global carrier relationships to enable safe transport and storage of DG.
